The Holidays are sneaking up on us and many sellers ask if it is a good idea to market during this time!
Traditionally this season is slower than the Spring time market, although consider some sellers may pull their homes off the market during the Holiday months – reducing inventory and making your home standout as a good opportunity. Buyers are buying for many different reasons, so if they are looking in November or December, it’s generally because they need housing.
If your home is occupied, consider reducing showings to ‘By appointment only’ so that you have more control on showing times. But if a home is vacant, us a lock-box and even consider setting the thermostat at 68 degrees so the home isn’t an ‘ice box’ when the enter it.
